The Lands End Hotel at Cannon Beach, Oregon featured unique lodging options in the middle of the town coupled with a pet friendly environment where guests could bring their pets and enjoy the coast. The hotel’s website was fairly old and the booking engine did not have the best SEO strategies built-in. We were challenged with creating a hotel SEO campaign that would capture website visitors and leads searching for geographic specific keywords and regionally important keywords that included pet friendly phrases.
During 1 year we captured more SEO traffic during the previous 3 years combined – ultimately resulting in a significant increase in qualified bookings during the shoulder season. Our shoulder season strategy for the hotel meant that the hotel was able to complete capital upgrades sooner than expected.
